Hours of Operation

Both FCL locations normally have the same hours of operation:

  • Sunday: 1 p.m.–5 p.m.
  • Monday–Thursday: 9 a.m.–9 p.m.
  • Friday–Saturday: 10 a.m.–6 p.m.

Temporary Hours at Farmington Hills

Due to ongoing renovation projects, the Farmington Hills location will have temporary limited hours and services September 21 through October 8, 2026.

  • Sunday: 1–5 p.m.
  • Monday–Thursday: 4–9 p.m.
  • Friday: CLOSED
  • Saturday: 10 a.m.–6 p.m.

The Farmington location will maintain its normal hours during this period.

Both FCL locations will be closed on the following dates:

  • December 24–25, 2025 – Closed

  • December 31, 2025 – Closed

  • January 1, 2026 – Closed

  • April 5, 2026 – Closed

  • May 23–25, 2026 – Closed

  • July 3–5, 2026 – Closed

  • September 5–7, 2026 – Closed

  • November 11, 2026 – Closed

  • November 25, 2026 – Early closure at 3 p.m.

  • November 26, 2026 – Closed

  • December 24–25, 2026 – Closed

  • December 31, 2026 – Closed

  • January 1, 2027 – Closed

Scheduled Library closures are annually reviewed and approved by the FCL Board of Trustees.
