FCL is excited to host the Automotive Hall of Fame's Achievement traveling exhibit—a celebration of Black innovation, invention, and leadership within the automotive industry through a dynamic, multi-channel experience.
The exhibit will be on display August 2-September 30 on the main level of the FCL Farmington Hills location (32737 W. 12 Mile Rd.).
About the Exhibit
The Achievement traveling exhibit explores the profound impact of the industry on Black families and communities. It includes curated stories that recognize the significant contributions of 19 African Americans to the automotive industry, organized around key themes such as:
- How We Live
- How We See Ourselves
- How We Work
- Impact of Innovation
- Industry Influencers
The focus of this exhibit is to create a space to tell stories about contributions to the automotive industry, keep these stories of discovery and achievement alive, and spark conversations among new generations.
