The Library Board of the Farmington Community Library will hold a study session on Thursday, September 23, 2021, 7:00 PM. This meeting will be held electronically due to capacity restrictions and social distancing requirements set forth in the MDHHS Director’s Emergency Orders and the MIOSHA Rules, the meetings will be held electronically. Electronic participation is permitted by the Open Meetings Act as amended by 2020 PA 228.

1. Reason for Electronic Meeting

Pursuant to the Emergency Order Under MCL 333.2253, the Director of the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services has by way of emergency order concluded that the COVID-19 pandemic continues to constitute an epidemic in Michigan and that it is necessary to establish procedures to be followed during the epidemic to ensure the public health, all public meetings. Farmington Community Library regular Board meeting will be made available via zoom teleconference out of precaution and to limit the potential exposure of the public and staff to the COVID-19 virus.

2. Procedures

The public may participate in the meeting electronically and may make public comment through either of the following methods.
