The Library is open for curbside pickup: Monday-Thursday 9 a.m. - 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. - 6 p.m., and Sunday 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.

Due to the significant increase in COVID-19 cases in Oakland County and surrounding areas, FCL is proactively prioritizing the health and safety of our staff and patrons by temporarily closing in-person library service to help mitigate the spread of the virus in our community. The Farmington Community Library has moved back to Phase 2 of our Reopening Plan. The first portion of our interactive story times features stories, finger plays, rhymes, songs, music and movement for the adult and child to share and experience together. The second portion is a social/play time which includes developmentally-appropriate toys and activities.

Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. – 12 Mile Location

Musical Movement

Walking 1-year-olds and 2-year olds
Third Saturdays of the Month at 10:30 a.m. – 12 Mile Location

Youngsters build vocabulary, coordination and confidence while moving to songs and rhymes and playing with simple toys. Physical and Occupational Therapists from Oakland County Early On lead the fun and will answer questions after the program.
