The Horizons Interlational Film Collection

The Horizons International Film Collection is established in memory of Neil J. Lurie.


The mission of the collection is to lend an understanding of people of many backgrounds and cultures, to illuminate the challenges and successes of American culture and society and to promote an appreciation of quality films, Films in the collection include works from some of the most outstanding directors from around the world. The Horizons International Film Collection are interfiled in the collection and identified by the special Horizons spine label:


Horizons International Film Collection Reception

Join us for a reception in the Main Library Auditorium from 2 to 4 p.m. n Sunday, October 19 to introduce our new Horizons International Film Collection. The reception will include a showing of a short award-winning film, Balance, followed by a film discussion. The Horizons International Film Collection has been established in memory of Neil J. Lurie who had a lifetime enjoyment of film.
