Arts on the Grand

The Founder's Festival is a popular summer event that attended by thousands of people each July. Art on the Grand brings artists' booths, hand-on activities and live performances to the Festival in Memorial Park in downtown Farmington.

The Council supports this event and FCAC members are encouraged to use this setting to introduce the Festival attendees to the year round art and cultural activities of their organizations.

Our Community's Heritage Festival

This event sponsored by the Farmington Farmington Hills Multicultural/Multiracial Community Council has become an annual celebration. The Farmington Community Arts Council participates by hosting a reception for the artists, and with a booth at the Festival Exhibits.

Annual Fall Meeting

The Annual Fall meeting of the Farmington Community Arts Council is usually held on the evening of the second Thursday of October. The public is invited to attend this event which features a guest speaker, musical entertainment and light refreshments.

Past speakers have included JoAnne Wilkie, executive director of the Art Center in Mt. Clements, to talk about city's Art in Public Places program, and Barbara Kratchman of Artserve Michigan to discuss the arts tax initiative.
