Everyone’s Reading is a community-wide reading program sponsored by
public libraries in Oakland and Wayne counties. Everyone’s Reading
promotes community dialogue through the shared experience of reading
and discussing the same book. This year’s selection is The Beekeeper’s
Apprentice: Or On the Segregation of the Queen / A Novel of Suspense Featuring Mary Russell and Sherlock Holmes by Laurie R. King.

The History's in the Mystery: World War I as Character and Setting in Crime
Fiction Willetta L. Heising, award-winning author of Detecting Men and
Detecting Women, is the leading expert on mystery series. She'll discuss a
selection of mysteries with a World War I setting, including Laurie R. King's Mary Russell/Sherlock Holmes series. This will be held at the Farmington Branch Meeting Room: Wednesday, February 13, 7 p.m.
